Night Shift

Rheems, PA

This individual is responsible to load, transport and unload feed between the mill and the customer and ensure the care of company and customer property.

Essential Job Functions:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection - assuring the safety of the vehicle.
Drive in a safe manner.
Load the correct feed from the appropriate bin, close bin and visually check the quality of feed and take sample of each order delivered - follow proper feed sampling procedures and wear required safety equipment.
Deliver feed to correct farm and bin number in a timely and efficient manner.
Report, clean up and properly dispose of feed spills.
Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and inform supervisor of vehicle problems.
Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
Maintain proper company image on highway and on farm (e.g., proper equipment maintenance and attire).
Report any problems observed in dealing with customers.
At times, deliver loads of a Gross Weight of 95,000 lbs.
Perform all duties to assure high quality CSA scores are maintained.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed:
Valid (Class A) CDL and good driving record
Endorsements “N” Tank; Air Brakes
Ability to handle flexible hours at times
Successful completion of DOT Physical and Drug screen
Ability to work in dusty environment
Ability to handle “on the road” situations that develop from time to time (snow - ice-accidents)
Ability to work at 15’ heights consistently
Ability to climb ladders consistently
Ability to lift up to 66 pounds on occasion
Basic math skills
Ability to handle permit size loads possibly grossing 95,000 lbs.

Logistics Planner

Second Shift

Rheems, PA

Logistics Planner is responsible for coordinating resources necessary to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of bulk animal feed, agricultural commodities, and related products. Core responsibilities involve working with customers, customer service, manufacturing, transportation, and garage operations to plan and execute trips on a daily basis in a 24/7 dispatch operation.
Essential Job Functions
Deploy WFM Transport resources to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
Effectively communicate with customers, drivers, and mills in a timely & complete manner.
Proactively contact customers with changing delivery information.
Logistically plan intra-Mill transfers.
Manage driver hours through current EOBR system.
Closely coordinate with the Garage to help ensure proper truck maintenance scheduling.
Coordinate driver availability with Transportation Supervisors.
Follow all flushing and sequencing procedures for loading, unloading, and transferring feed.
Properly maintain load out logs and other records as necessary for all loads hauled.
Communicate with drivers as to which loads should be loaded.
Schedule and assign loads for WFM Transport part time drivers and contract carriers.
Work with team members from across the organization to resolve operational challenges.
Use available technology (such as route planning software) to plan and execute trips on a daily basis.

Qualifications Needed
Experience working in a fast paced, 24/7 dispatch operation.
Experience with route planning software and EOBR systems preferred.
Ability to tactically plan loads 6-10 hours or more in advance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and environmental conditions.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to understand transportation cost structure.
Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Word, and Enterprise Resource Planning software.
Flexibility with schedule to attend meetings during other shifts and work weekends.

Clean mill facility and warehouses daily.
Monitor bulk and bag inventories daily. 
Stock the mill daily with bags needed for production.
Effectively operate multiple areas within the mill at one time.
Maintain usage reports and operational records as needed.
Perform other duties determined by the Mill Supervisor or Team Leader.
Navigate, use and understand the Wenger System as appropriate.

Basic math and computer skills

This individual will support the HR Manager by performing various recruiting and administrative duties related to general HR and employment functions.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform recruitment and selection functions, including screening of applications and conducting interviews.

Corporate Paralegal

Rheems, PA

This individual performs the corporate legal duties for the company (and related entities) in conjunction with the CFO and outside counsel including, but not limited to, contract/agreement review, preparation, and management; corporate compliance; legal research and training.

Essential Job Functions:

Review contracts/agreements for the corporation and business units
Review contracts/agreements in conjunction with outside counsel and CFO
Work with business unit managers to review contracts/agreements
Draft and amend contracts/agreements as needed in conjunction with outside counsel
Prepare contracts, legal agreements and other legal business documents as directed by CFO.
Prepare routine contracts based on approved templates prepared by outside counsel
Work with staff for routine schedule preparation
Manage corporate contract and agreement system
Manage contract/agreement inventory through document management system
Manage calendar for renewal, extensions, and retention of contract/agreements
Ensure corporate compliance
Review/prepare corporate minutes, resolutions, etc.
Perform duties as assistant corporate secretary
Acquire, review, and renew corporate licenses, permits, etc.
Manage the intellectual property (IP) portfolio
Work with IP attorney to register trademarks etc.
Maintain inventory and renewal calendar in conjunction with IP attorney
Support merger and acquisition (M&A) due diligence

Qualifications Needed:

Director of Project Management

Rheems, PA

This individual has primary responsibility for leading the execution of major capital projects and has broad authority within company guidelines to commit the company on matters of cost and schedule.  Additionally, this person is responsible for the overall execution of the work on each project and all aspects of resource management related to each project including assigning work, choosing team members, monitoring effort, and evaluating performance, with a goal of fulfilling all project requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate with company leadership to determine facility needs and assess risks inherent with each project.  Evaluate and develop a clear understanding of the expectations on each project through effective relationship management and resource evaluation and assignment.

Lead project planning efforts to support successful project implementation and completion, including, but not limited to, staffing projections and planning, project budgets, project bidding processes, project scheduling, logistics planning, and subcontractor evaluation/procurement.        

Manage and monitor project processes and procedures to ensure company standards are being met with regard to quality, safety, and environmental requirements. As needed, conduct site visits and provide coaching to team members. Collaborate with company leadership and others as assigned, to regularly evaluate the processes by which projects are executed.

Work closely with the project team to evaluate project costs to date and develop/maintain an accurate forecast of project costs and profitability.

Regularly evaluate the project schedule and implement adjustments necessary to maintain or recover the required goals/milestones.

Lead project communication efforts among the project team and throughout the organization as needed, including regular reports to the President and other stakeholders on the status of each project’s schedule performance, financial projection, and risks affecting overall performance.

Qualilfications Needed:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in relevant discipline

Five years or more experience preferred as project manager for business development

Five years experience leading a project team of varied or diversified levels of experience and capability

Knowledge of real estate/land acquisition, construction, planning and scheduling

Agricultural background preferred

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and other contract documents

Exceptional management and leadership skills

Financial management experience of department operations and project profitability

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software systems, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Current valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to company sites.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, team members, etc.
